Plymouth City Council Meeting Tonight!

Join us tonight at 7:00 PM at Plymouth City Hall for our monthly City Council meeting!

There are several items on tonight’s agenda that we’ll be discussing as we continue working to keep Plymouth moving forward.

Recycling Schedule - Our calendar is wrong. Our recycling days this month are the 10th and 23rd.

Reminder for Labor Day Week. ALSO Please look at your Recycling calendar for the month of September. There are some changes.

We are CLOSED on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. Collections will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week with Friday collection on Saturday.

We appreciate the hard work of all our Absolute Waste/Recycle workers.

Your City Council would like your input!
It is being discussed to change the billing cycle of our utility bills. They are currently due the last day of the month or the first business day following.
The discussion is to change that to somewhere in the middle of the month. There are several advantages in-house for this change, but the council would like your feedback.
A second change that is being discussed would be a small monetary discount for any account that goes totally paperless - meaning that you receive e-bills AND set up ACH auto withdrawal directly with the city.

PLEASE leave a comment, talk with your mayor, council or city clerk.

TREE REMOVAL - The city has approved a bid from Beland Tree Service to remove several dead trees in town. They are planning to be here sometime mid to late September.

If you are interested in getting a quote from them, please reach out to Jameson at 530-9697. They would love to get you taken care of while they are already in town.

The Plymouth City Council meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM at City Hall. The Plymouth Betterment Committee also meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at City Hall.

These meetings are a great opportunity to:

✅ Share concerns or suggestions
✅ Learn about community projects and upcoming plans
✅ Stay informed about city business
✅ Ask questions and provide feedback
✅ Find ways to become more involved in Plymouth

We encourage residents to attend and take an active role in our community. If you see something that needs attention, have concerns about city services, or simply want to stay informed, please join us. Your input helps make Plymouth an even better place to live.

Please remember it is the abutting property owner's responsibility to keep brush, trees, weeds, etc. trimmed back from streets, alleys, and sidewalks. Thank you to all who help keep our town clean and shiny!
