Operation: Quiet Comfort

Operation: Quiet Comfort visit our website at www.operationquietcomfort.org Operation: Quiet Comfort (OQC) is a national benefit organization established in July 2004.

The Mission of Operation Quiet Comfort exists to provide physical and emotional support to America’s military men and women while they are serving in harm’s way. You won't find any political, ideological or religious views of the war or other conflicts that the United States may be involved in ... just the love and comfort of a grateful nation. Your contributions of time, talent and resources help

us provide meaningful support to our Wounded Warriors during their time of distress far from home. And we have it on good authority that these efforts are of great comfort to their loved ones, too. Our sick, injured, and ill troops often arrive for medical care direct from the battlefield and without their belongings. It can take weeks before those belongings catch up with them - sometimes they don't arrive at all. Our efforts are designed to provide quality of life items at their very first stop for medical care. In this way, we demonstrate we've had them in heart and mind all along. We wish they didn't need them at all, but when warriors meet on a battlefield the reality is there will be casualties. It's just a fact and at OQC we are working with that reality. We can all take comfort in knowing helpful supplies are there "just in case". The focused efforts of a grateful nation also enhance the level of care our amazing medical professionals are able to provide in-theater. The finest medical care in the world is provided under the most extreme conditions! We honor and comfort these troops, too, for their heroic live-saving efforts on the front lines. While we work tirelessly on behalf of this newest generation of warriors we hope that in doing so we show our cherished veterans of the past that we got it right this time. OQC is very proud to be working in partnership with Any Soldier, Inc. to provide support to the amazing professionals at these medical facilities, and the wounded warriors entrusted to their care. Please join us in demonstrating that a grateful nation truly thanks them. Please support our work - meaningful demonstrations of love and support - while American's are fighting determined enemies. We thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration! Contributions to Operation: Quiet Comfort are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by
law. OQC is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit charitable organization registered in the State of Michigan, United States of America.

July 10, 2026

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Let's continue to celebrate the country we live in and the freedoms we share as we honor our veterans and continue to serve those who are serving us.

We couldn't do it without volunteers!

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU

THANK YOU to the kids from CGC Youth Group that spent 2 hours here on a Saturday morning packing for the troops. (I thought I had enough supplies for several groups, but they made quick work of everything we had to pack) Their enthusiasm and work ethic was amazing!

We received 8 boxes of supplies and a very generous check from the students at Immanuel Lutheran School in Valparaiso, IN.

Everyone working together is what keeps the care packages going from Operation: Quiet Comfort.

Kenny and I had a table for people to write messages to the troops at our daughter's shop, The Treehouse Pie Company, in Sycamore, IL on July 3rd. It gave us the opportunity to spread the word about Operation: Quiet Comfort a little further.

PRAY for OUR TROOPS!

Our troops need all the prayers and good thoughts we can send. We send our heart felt gratitude to those serving and to the families supporting them. We honor our fallen heroes. (Reminder: We are a non-political organization.)
