Newport Fire officials say the fire was near railroad tracks two miles from Spring Street.

Plymouth Fire & Rescue is at it again this time we are going big so make sure you tell your friends and get your tickets. Drawing won't be until September 1st 2026 and this time your not getting a choice of just one, not two but six yes SIX guns. So you have a good chance at winning. Crews will most likely monitor the scene overnight.

Orrington Fire Chief Scott Stewart added that due to the nature of the fire, they may not be able to determine what caused it.

Reminder this Friday our co****le tournament and Saturday our chicken barbecue if it rains we will still have the chicken barbecue and will be doing it at the fire department instead of the triangle hope to see everybody there
