WELCOME BACK for the 26-27 school year!

We are SO excited to see everyone back at our Little School on the Hill this week and hope you can join us on this Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00-6:00 PM out in front of the school as the Manomet Home & School Association - MHSA is once again sponsoring our Annual Ice Cream Social.

Come enjoy some yummy ice cream while we will also be having the ribbon cutting for our NEW GAGA BALL PIT! This has all been made possible through the hard work and leadership of soon-to-be Eagle Scout and MES alum Timmy Bennett!

Congratulations to Oliver Tunks and Ivan Freyermuth on receiving this year’s Manomet Elementary School scholarships! Oliver was awarded the Gary R. Anderson Memorial Scholarship, and Ivan received the Chet Flattery Memorial Scholarship.

Both students are incredibly deserving of this recognition, and we are all so proud of their accomplishments. We wish Oliver, Ivan, and all members of the Class of 2026 continued success and the very best as they move forward into the next chapter of their journeys. Congratulations and best of luck in the future!

Today, we welcomed back the MES fifth-grade class of 2019 for their last lap. We laughed, we cried, and most importantly, we had the opportunity to congratulate this remarkable group of students on all that they have achieved.

We will be cheering you all on as you walk across the stage tomorrow. Best of luck in your next endeavors, and remember to come back and visit! 🎓❤️🐺

Congratulations to Evan French, Declan Huntley, and Liam Huntley on being invited to the State House on Tuesday to celebrate their project submission as part of the "Massachusetts Revolutionaries: Bold Stories, Bright Legacies" initiative. Their work centered around the amazing life of Boston legend, Bill Russell, and all of the contributions he made during his life both on and off the basketball court. They had the opportunity to meet Governor Healy, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll, and Secretary of Education Zrike.

Hello MES Families!
Below are three documents with information about our upcoming “Roll to School” event where we are encouraging as many students as possible to either walk or bike to school even if only part of the way!
Check out the documents that include 1) a list of all logistics… 2) a graphic flyer to post on the fridge as a reminder… 3) a map that shares the flow of traffic that morning.

The event will be taking place on the morning of Friday, May 29th (weather permitting!). We hope to see you there! 🛴🚲 💨

What an AMAZING night! From bright paintings, to perfect pinch pots- the students absolutely shined, and it was so much fun seeing their creativity on display.

Thank you, Mrs. Farrell, for inspiring our young artists and filling the school with so much joy, talent, and creativity. The art show was truly a masterpiece! 🎨
