Plymouth COPE Center

Plymouth COPE Center Preventing the spread of HIV and AIDS is critical. Visitors are encouraged to take what they need to stay safe and come back as often as necessary.

BAMSI provides free harm-reduction supplies such as clean replacement syringes, condoms, and other materials to reduce the risk of sexual transmission. By exchanging used needles for clean ones to prevent the spread of HIV or Hepatitis, distributing Narcan to counteract an overdose, or provide warm clothes to stop someone from freezing to death on the street, COPE provides life-saving services for

populations who are at increased risk of premature death. BAMSI’s trained staff also offer free HIV/HCV/STI testing, counseling, and treatment referral. DROP IN HOURS MONDAY - FRIDAY 10AM-3PM

When talking about those impacted by HIV, we must remember the aging population living with it.

Today, on HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, we’re doing just that by actively calling out the struggles that come with HIV and the immense strength it takes to overcome the obstacles that arise when aging with the disease.

We must continue to protect this population through ongoing advocacy and proper care.

Celebrate the unveiling of the 2026 Pink Triangle atop Twin Peaks on Saturday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. Originally used by the N***s to identify and persecute homosexuals, the pink triangle has been reclaimed by the LGBTQ+ community as a symbol of pride, resilience and remembrance. The annual commemoration ceremony marks the beginning of the month-long installation and will feature remarks from local and state leaders, SF Pride representatives and community advocates, along with musical and community performances. The installation will remain on display through June 28.

Community members can also support the project by volunteering to help install, maintain and remove the Pink Triangle, which relies on hundreds of volunteers each year. Learn more, including how to volunteer, at thepinktriangle.com.
