🚗 West Stafford Street Parking Lot is NOW OPEN! 🎉

The project turned out great, and the lot is officially open for parking! The project also includes a new riverfront trail, creating another great connection through the downtown area.

There will still be a little touch-up work happening over the next few weeks, including additional signage and trail lighting, which will be installed soon. The portion of the lot closest to the hotel will also receive its final coat of asphalt once the hotel’s heavy construction work is complete.

A quick reminder for anyone parking overnight: vehicles must be moved at least once every 24 hours.

Thank you for your patience throughout the project. We hope everyone enjoys the new and improved West Stafford Street Parking Lot and riverfront trail!

The Plymouth Common Council has voted to place a referendum question on the November 3, 2026 ballot.

The Plymouth Police Department (PPD) is seeking to add three additional sworn patrol officers, phased in over 2027, along with contractual wage adjustments for current staff, two additional squad cars and related equipment. Voters will be asked whether they support a permanent $600,000 increase in the City's annual property tax levy to fund the investments in PPD.
