We had a wonderful time at this year's Foster & Adoption Family Fun Day!

Families came together to enjoy great food from the Vikings Table Food Truck, connect with one another, and celebrate the strength and importance of foster and adoptive families.

We're especially grateful to Enterprise, The Horton Group, and the Minnesota Vikings for their generosity and support in helping make this day possible.

Discipline teaches. Abuse harms. As parents and caregivers, our goal is to help children learn and grow, not to make them fearful.

Effective discipline is calm, consistent, and focused on teaching. Before reacting, take a moment to pause, regulate your own emotions, and ask yourself: "Am I teaching, or am I punishing?"

A few ways to support healthy discipline:
- Set clear expectations
- Keep consequences age-appropriate
- Model healthy coping skills
- Create space for conversation and connection

This role focuses on facilitating supervised family visits, supporting healthy family relationships, and documenting visits in a safe and supportive environment.
