Congratulations to Our Massachusetts State Championship Track & Field Participants!
On Friday, Plymouth South Middle School athletes represented our school with pride at the Massachusetts State Championship Track & Field Meet. Our athletes performed exceptionally well, earning medals, setting personal records, and even breaking school records.
Special congratulations to:
Julia Rooney for becoming State Champion in the Discus, earning 1st place overall with a throw of 88.06
Elsie Duquette for setting a new school record in the 400-meter with a time of 1:04.23 and placing 7th overall in the state.
Bryce Tuholski for breaking the school record in the javelin with a throw of 112’ 4” and earning 3rd place overall in the state.-
Additional outstanding performances included:
Our Girls 4x100 Relay Team (Elsie Duquette, Julia Rooney, Riley Pierson, and Samiyah Lynch- Ruberio) for placing 9th in the state.
Our Boys 4x100 Relay Team (Dylan Cox, Henry Press, Will Markarian, Nolan Donahue) for earning 6th place overall in the state.
Our Girls 4x400 Relay Team (Greta Boucher, Quinn Ladow, Shannon Howie, Zoe Joachim) for placing 6th overall in the state.
Our Boys 4x400 Relay Team (Bryce Tuholski, Domenic Venturelli, Jaxson Joachim, Mason Thibault) for placing 7th overall in the state.

Mason Hutchinson placing 5th overall in the state in the Discus.
Riley Pearson earning 8th place in the Discus.
Plymouth South Middle School was well represented at the State Championship Meet, and these accomplishments reflect the commitment and perseverance of our student-athletes.
