Packet pickup for registered racers is tonight at the Community Rec Center from 4-6:30PM. Late registration will also be available at this time and again in the morning from 7:15-7:45 at the race.

Tomorrow, 10K walkers start at 7:30am, and all other divisions start at 8am.

Our City Creek volunteer trail maintainer groups have started work again this year! Each group has adopted a trail or two and is responsible for clearing vegetation and downed trees to keep the trails in excellent condition.

We have about 10 groups who are part of the program. City Creek would be an overgrown mess without our dedicated volunteers. Groups completing work so far include Mike Sullivan & Friends, Paul's Posse, , Pocatello Running Company , the Pocatello Fall Ultra.

Poky Paddle is today! Rental equipment and shuttles will be available starting at 4PM at Rainey Park. Food, music, and fun kicks off at Centennial at 5PM.

Important Info:
- Due to low water and slow flow, the last shuttle to Edson will be at 6PM. Expect at least a 2 hour and 45 minute float (and you need to paddle).
- The last shuttle to Taysom will be at 8PM. Expect a 30 minute float.
- All rental tubes can only go to Taysom. We suggest that personal tubes only go to Taysom as well (or you might be out there all night).
- If you're worried about the Edson float taking too long, but want to have max fun on the river, we suggest doing two floats from Taysom. Then there will still be time to enjoy the fun at Centennial!
- Please plan to wear water shoes or sandals. There are sharp rocks along the river and thorns in the grass.

Parking!
- Please park at Rainey Park. We are opening the ballfield for parking.
- If you have personal boats or tubes, you can unload them at Rainey.
- If you're not floating, please plan to walk at Rainey and walk across the bridge.

Pedal2Paddle
- Oregon Trail Bikes will have a bike valet at Centennial where you can securely checkin your bike! Live nearby? Ride to the Poky Paddle. You can also park in the large public lots in Old Town by Union Pacific/old bus station and ride from there. There will be signs to follow starting on the corner of Main St. & Bonneville St. that will lead you to the park. Please be careful riding in traffic.

Our staff spotted this guy while doing work on our river trail the other day. He was enjoying the Portneuf at the last access point, Douglass Lane!

Come enjoy the Portneuf with us this Friday at Poky Paddle! Shuttles start at 4PM from Rainey Park. Enjoy a float and then the festivities at Centennial including live music, food trucks, and more!

You can also Pedal2Paddle! Park at the public Union Pacific lots in Old Town and peddle your bike over to the bike valet in Centennial to avoid parking issues. Rent equipment on site and be on your way to floating fun.
