BREAKING: LOL! Progressive superstar Jennifer Welch enrages MAGA by calling billionaire Elon Musk "this country's biggest immigrant welfare queen" in an epic takedown.

If the shoe fits Elon...

"When Apple needs money, they can just call up the Trump administration," said Welch. "When Elon Musk, this country's biggest immigrant welfare queen, the world's biggest welfare queen, when he needs a contract, he just calls up Trump. The same with Jeff Bezos."

"They are the parasites. It's not the people way, way, way, way down on the food chain that are making $7.25 an hour. They are not parasitic," she continued. "It is the corporations that exploit their labor. It is the corporations that do not have to pay taxes. It is the corporations that pay off both parties."

"That is why we have to be an opposition party and be solely focused on being an opposition party to these corporate handouts where wealth trickles down on the 1% from Trump to probably about 25 people," added Welch. "That's it. It's all taxpayer-funded welfare, and they're corrupt, every last one of them."

It's so incredibly refreshing to hear a Democrat speak in such blunt terms. These oligarchs are sucking this country dry by funneling contributions to the Republican Party in return for massive sweetheart contracts, tax breaks, and pro-corporation legislation. Meanwhile, working class Americans are forced to squabble for scraps as their healthcare, rent, and grocery costs skyrocket.

Then these very same right-wingers have the nerve to turn around and call us "communists" for daring to suggest that the minimum wage should, at the very least, keep pace with inflation or that Americans shouldn't go bankrupt trying to pay their hospital bills.

It's important to recognize that Musk and the other plutocrats have no true sense of patriotism despite constantly draping themselves in the flag. They don't even believe in nation-states. They believe in the rights of the global elite to do as they please wherever they please, socking away money in offshore bank accounts and cavorting on Epstein island. These modern day robber-barons support Republican politicians because Republican politicians will eagerly do their bidding in return for a check.

It's that simple.

A vote for Republicans is a vote for the oligarchs.

A full house at the Top of the Mountain's regular meeting last Saturday, and a full range of ages from 91 to 4yrs! Candidate Thomas Kucer and Mason the campaign rep for Brian Wrightson pitched their plans for canvassing and organizing GOTV come the general election. We heard from N. Vasquez about the just formed Monroe County Latino Caucus, and from Charles Keppler IV, commissioner from Pocono Township, about his Central Pocono Democratic Club. Coolbaugh Township residents, you are always welcome at the ToMDC, and we are working to strengthen the relationship. Our state and federal officials need to support and reflect our values. ToM is working to get them elected.

IT'S A FISH FRY! A FUNDRAISER! IT'S SATURDAY JULY 11th!
At the Blakeslee Community Center, corner of routes 115 and 940 at Blakeslee Corners. Open at 11:00 am for take-out and dine-in. Fish Sandwich is $10.00 and the Platter including cornbread and coleslaw is $15. Stop by and say hello while you pick up lunch or dinner, no pre-order necessary. Event is open to the public and goes until 3 pm.
