Pocono Mountain Regional Police Officers Association

The PMPOA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The PMRPOA is made up of all full-time police officers. The PMRPOA is a labor organization, which engages in contract negotiations periodically with the the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Commission. The PMRPOA supports many charitable organizations in our community throughout the year. Each year the PMRPOA supports local children that are seeking

medical treatment for serious illness. We provide financial support to the child and their family, so the child has proper transportation and receives the proper medical treatment. Members also raise money to support children in our community by donating part of their paychecks to a No-Shave November fundraiser. Additionally, PMRPOA purchases and delivers meals to families during the holidays who do not have the financial means. We also provide support to many local organizations that help veterans and low income families. Furthermore, we sponsor many school activities in the Pocono Mountain School District. We support the school store, which is a PRIDE program within the school district that helps build and promote a safe and positive environment in which all student can learn. We also provide athletics with drinks and ice-cream during sports practices. Members of the PMRPOA believe this creates a positive relationship between police and the community that we serve. In order to continue our mission, we have an annual golf tournament which helps the association raise much needed funds.
