Earlier this week, the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Camp Program visited our firehouse. Camp goers were able to try on our turnout gear, get tours of the apparatus, and even took turns spraying the fire hose!

Earlier this week, members of the Point Pleasant Beach Fire Department FAST Team trained with Brielle Fire Company at an accquired structure. Member's of both departments rotated through various stations that included packaging a firefighter with a RIT Board, VEIS and rescuing a downed firefighter through the floor. Thank you to Brielle Fire Department for inviting us for a night of training.

Ocean Fire Company today visited Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Summer Camp for spray down day. Members spent some time with the campers and staff cooling them off with our engine!

Ocean Fire Company kept busy today running multiple calls with Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company #2 in and out of town. Good job by all involved!

Fireworks for tonight July 5th have been postponed due to the forecast for tonight.

Fireworks Update: The weather hasn't been on our side all weekend and the same is said for this evening. Unfortunately, due to the predicted forecast this evening including an east wind, our Independence Day fireworks show will be postponed.

We will now be including this show into our 250th Celebration event on Thursday, July 16th! Not only will we have our biggest fireworks show of the year with a DJ on the beach, there's also beach concerts & entertainment, a special $17.76 wristband deal and the official ribbon cutting ceremony for our newest ride, Patriots Run!

Members of Ocean Fire Company and Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company #2 yesterday ran over a dozen calls for service in town that included transformer explosions, fire alarms and wires down calls. The Point Pleasant Beach FAST Team was also requested for a 2nd alarm commercial structure fire on 3rd Ave in Spring Lake. Members provided proactive RIT for all companies operating on scene in tough conditions.

We would like to say thank you to the resident's on Central Ave who provided refreshments to members while operating a call there, and to the staff of BoatYard401 who provided food for members after midnight
