The Point Pleasant Police Department is investigating an incident involving a male subject exposing himself to a 15 year old female juvenile. The incident occurred on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at approximately 2:50 PM. The incident occurred at the intersection of Barton Avenue and Cedar Avenue. The subject was described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5’8” to 5’10”, medium to muscular build with dark hair, wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt (white insignia on the front) and black shorts with blue stripe down the side. The subject was walking past the juvenile when he exposed himself. The male subject then continued to walk away south on Barton Avenue, leaving the area on foot. The Point Pleasant Police Department is actively investigating this incident and two prior lewdness cases occurring in town since February. We are pursuing a number of leads, utilizing every appropriate resource. UNATTENDED BAGS / PACKAGES
SUSPICIOUS PERSONS/ VEHICLES
PERSONS PHOTOGRAPHING CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SITES, GOVERNMENT FACILITIES, SCHOOLS, TRANSPORTATION, UTILITIES ETC…

IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHETHER OR NOT TO CALL REGARDING SOMETHING YOU HAVE OBSERVED, PLAY IT SAFE AND CALL THE POINT PLEASANT POLICE DEPARTMENT AT 732-892-0060 OR DIAL 9-1-1 FOR AN EMERGENCY. WE WOULD RATHER INVESTIGATE A REPORT THAT TURNS OUT TO BE INNOCENT THAN NOT GET A REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT THAT TURNS OUT TO BE SIGNIFICANT.

On Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm stop by the community park for National Night Out. There will be crafts, hot dogs, popcorn, cottong candy, a disney light show and more for kids to enjoy. The Police Deparment will have thier portable Project Medicine Drop where you can dipose of old pills, capsules, patches and pet medications. Remember no liquids, no needles and no syringes.
