🚧 Route 62 Bridge Update 🚧

I’ve been in contact with DOH regarding the bridge closure on Rt 62.

The bridge was flagged mid-week after changes were observed in the bridge deck.

Following an immediate inspection, it was determined that the structure was unsafe for travel.

DOH is actively working to secure a temporary bridge system that will span the damaged area so no additional pressure is placed on the existing structure.

DOH understands how important this is to our community and are working to reopen it safely as quickly as possible.

I will continue to share updates as I receive them.

EDIT- A detour is available (though rather long) and is marked with signs.
