Volunteers needed. I am looking for volunteers to help with Kids Cafe in the month of June and July. These lunches will be held at the senior center. Hours are Mon - wed- fri from 11:30 - 1. You must commit to at least one day a week. This qualifies as community service for students needing community service hours. I am also looking for some help with the new garden beds at the food pantry. Currently in need of yard waste - sticks, branches, grass clippings, any biodegradable waste, no weeds please. We need to fill the bottom of our beds. We also need more soil if you have any to donate. I can take whole brown bags of yard waste that can through the whole bag in the bottom. I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the Oregon highschool students. They constructed these amazing HUGE garden beds for and the food pantry and delivered them too. Also thank you Joyce Lewis of the Ogle county health department for helping us to grow healthy nutritious food for our families! Without you this wouldn’t be possible ❤️
