We will be open for our night swim from 7pm-9pm tonight!!

Due to the Extreme Heat Warning and dangerous heat index conditions today, we have made the decision to close the pool for lap swim and our day swim from 1pm-5pm. While we love providing a place for our community to cool off and enjoy the summer, the safety of our staff and patrons will always remain our #1 priority.

With temperatures and heat index values reaching unsafe levels, we want to ensure we are not putting our lifeguards, concession staff, or patrons at an increased risk for heat-related illness. Our staff members spend several hours outside in these conditions, and even with proper hydration, breaks, and safety precautions, today’s heat creates an unsafe environment.

We understand this may be disappointing, especially during the summer months when families look forward to spending time at the pool. However, we believe making the responsible choice today is the best way to protect everyone who walks through our gates.

At this time, we are planning to try to open for night swim from 7–9 PM if conditions improve. We will continue to closely monitor the weather, heat index, and overall safety of the conditions before making a final decision. Any updates regarding night swim will be communicated as soon as possible.

Please take this time to stay cool, drink plenty of water, and limit time outdoors if possible. Thank you for your understanding and support as we make decisions with the health and safety of our community in mind.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our staff and patrons. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the pool when conditions are safer!

🚨 Reminder to Parents & Guardians 🚨

We have seen an increase in children coming to the pool without adult supervision, and unfortunately it has led to more frequent altercations and inappropriate behavior. While these incidents can occur at any time, they have become especially common during night swim.

We have also seen an increase in disrespect toward staff, the use of foul and inappropriate language, and a general disregard for fellow patrons and pool property. This behavior is unacceptable and takes away from the safe, family-friendly environment we work hard to provide.

Please remember that our lifeguards are here for one primary purpose: to keep everyone safe in and around the water. They are not responsible for supervising children’s behavior outside of the pool, in the locker rooms, or breaking up conflicts between patrons.

If your child is unable to follow pool rules, treat others with respect, and behave appropriately, they will be asked to leave.

We ask that parents have a conversation with their children before coming to the pool about appropriate behavior, respectful language, and treating both staff and fellow patrons with kindness. We want the pool to remain a fun, safe, and welcoming place for everyone, but that requires everyone’s cooperation.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
