Polson School District Names Bill Sullivan as Activities Director

Polson School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Bill Sullivan as the new Activities Director for Polson High School.

A Montana native, Sullivan grew up in Anaconda and went on to play basketball at Montana Tech before earning his degree from the University of Montana. He has spent his professional career in education in the Kalispell area, serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator for more than 20 years.

Sullivan brings extensive experience in educational leadership and a deep commitment to student success through athletics and activities. Throughout his career, he has worked to build positive school cultures, support coaches and advisors, and create meaningful opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.

"We are thrilled to welcome Bill Sullivan to Polson High School," said Superintendent Andy Fors. "Bill's experience, leadership, and passion for students make him an outstanding fit for our district. He understands the important role that activities and athletics play in developing young people, building school pride, and strengthening community connections. We are excited for the future of Pirate activities under his leadership."

As Activities Director, Sullivan will oversee Polson High School's athletic and activity programs while working closely with coaches, advisors, students, families, and community members to support a positive and successful experience for all participants.

"I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to join an outstanding school district and begin working with our coaches, advisors, and staff," Sullivan said. "Activities and athletics play a powerful role in shaping culture, developing students, and building community. I look forward to supporting our programs, celebrating student accomplishments, and helping create outstanding experiences for everyone involved."

Sullivan and his wife, Heather, are excited to become part of the Polson community and begin building relationships with students, staff, families, and supporters of Pirate activities.

Polson School District welcomes Bill Sullivan to the Pirate family and looks forward to the leadership, enthusiasm, and experience he will bring to the district's activities programs.
