The Lake County Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC) is excited to announce the winner of the 2026 Ken Rohrenbach Scholarship: Leah Cahoon. Leah is a senior at Charlo High School and has been involved in National Honor Society, Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), Business Professionals of America (BPA), and has volunteered with Eagle Mount. She has a 3.96 GPA and is ranked first in her class. Leah plans to pursue a degree in the healthcare field.

The $1,000 scholarship for a graduating high school senior from Lake County is named after the late Ken Rohrenbach. Ken worked for the Montana Job Service, served on the Polson School Board for 17 years, was a volunteer firefighter, and was an ardent supporter of all school activities. The Ken Rohrenbach Scholarship honors students that have shown community involvement, determination, and have overcome adversity.
