**🚧 ROAD PAVING NOTICE 🚧**

Please be advised that paving work is scheduled to take place on the following streets and areas:

* **All of Butternut Avenue**
* **Brick Street to Lasley Street to Mulberry Street**
* **Mulberry Street from Anne Street to Hiland Road**, near the clinic
* **Part of East Memorial Drive**

**Road preparation/work is scheduled for August 26–27, with work possibly continuing into August 28 if needed.**

**Paving is expected to begin August 31 and should be completed within 2–3 days, weather permitting.**

**There will be no street parking allowed in the areas being paved during paving**

Please use caution in these areas, watch for workers and equipment, and expect possible traffic delays or temporary access restrictions.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed!

The Village of Pomeroy is announcing a temporary traffic change....
During the period of July 31st thru August 2nd it is permissible to turn Left from Butternut Ave. onto Main St.
This traffic pattern change is ONLY TEMPORARY.....

Beginning Wednesday July 22, 2026 thru July 23, 2026 Parking on Main Street from Sycamore to Butternut Ave.; Second Street from Sycamore to Butternut Ave; Lynn Street and Sycamore Street will be closed to ON STREET PARKING so that contractors can complete Parking Space line painting.
This will complete the Downtown Paving and Striping portion of our Downtown Revitalzation Grant.

*PAVING UPDATE FOR POMEROY VILLAGE*
The tenative schedule for Paving is as follows:
Monday July 13--Second Street between Butternut and Sycamore
Tuesday July 14--The Parking Lot
Wenesday July 15--Main Street between Butternut and Sycamore

This a tenative schedule and subject to change due to inclement weather that may prevent paving!

This Paving SCHEDULE is for just Streets affected by the Downtown Grant Project.
The only other Streets to be paved are:
Sycamore St
Lynn St
A portion of Butternut Ave

Beginning Tuesday, July 7th thru the 10th the Village of Pomeroy will have NO parking on Main Street from Butternut to Sycamore....curb to curb, NO PARKING ON Main STREET while MIling and Paving. ONE WAY* traffic will be maintained.

*Second Street beginning at Butternut to Sycamore will be milled and paved.

*Butternut from Main to Second Street will be milled and paved.

*Lynn Street from Second to Main will be milled and paved.

*Sycamore from Second to Main will be milled and paved.

****The Parking Lot will immedately begin14th having repairs and paving. The Parking Lot will be close at times to make these repairs and finish paving.

Please understand these inconveiences are necessary to complete the Down Town Revitalization Project.

The Meigs High Scool Jazz Band will be preforming on May 12, 2026 6:30 pm at the Pomeroy Court Street Plazza area.....in the event of rain, the Concert will move to the Maple Lawn Room on Second Street.
Please come out and enjoy the Band's Concert!
