🚒🚒 APPAREL STORE OPENED 🚒🚒

The Pomeroy Fire Department community apparel store has opened for people wanting to support their local volunteers. This store will have short and long sleeve t-shirts, crew neck and hooded sweatshirts in adult and youth sizes.

Our apparel store is set up with convenience in mind. You select your items, pay at the checkout out, and your items come pre-bagged to the fire department for pickup (it saved $$ on shipping to have it sent as a whole order instead of individually shipping to each buyer 😉).

This store will close on September 10th, and after this we are unsure of when a future apparel store will be conducted. Prices are very competitive, with a small markup benefitting the Pomeroy Firemen’s Association.

🚨FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION UPDATES 🚨

A date change and upcoming fundraiser announcements:

* As we always strive to be a family-first department, we will be moving our final chicken barbecue of 2026 back one week from Sunday, October 4th, to Sunday, October 11th. One of our fire department daughters will be celebrating their wedding and reception on Saturday, October 3rd. As many of our members will be helping with the special day, we have decided to move the barbecue back one week. This allows our members and families to attend the nuptials, and congratulate the newlyweds at their reception. We congratulate the soon to be married couple and cannot wait to attend the wonderful union of two great people.

* The firemen’s association will be conducting a $500 Bridgeport tools and rental raffle that will conclude on October 11. Chances are $10 each and can be purchased from members of the FD. A list of the Bridgeport retail store items is included in the pictures below.

* Finally, after many years, the department is going to conduct a limited time only, internet store to purchase Pomeroy Fire Department themed T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hooded apparel. These specially designed, limited time only items will be available through purchase from an online store with Sportsdecals, with all proceeds benefiting the Pomeroy Fire Department and Firemen’s Association. More details will be released when the online store is open for purchases, which we hope will occur by the end of the week. A sample of the artwork is listed below. It will be a 50/50 blend black shirt with the fire department patch on the front and the back will have the Maltese, while paying homage to our roots as Pomeroy Panthers and a depiction the Pomeroy-Mason Bridge of Honor.
