Pomeroy Sternwheel Regatta

Pomeroy Sternwheel Regatta Sternwheelers & boaters travel from all around the region to attend this 3 day festival. The event kicks off with a mile long fire truck parade on Thurs.

Every September, Pomeroy hosts the Sternwheel Regatta. This three-day event attracts Sternwheelers and pleasure boaters from all over. Activities include AMAZING live entertainment, fireworks, parades, 5K run/walk, chili cook off, raffles, duck derby, crafters, food vendors, children's activities, and so much more. FREE ADMISSION

With water conditions and all the debris in the water this year has brought and lack of interest in this event we have decided to cancel the Anything that floats but a boat race this year. While we may try to make some modifications to rules and regulations and bring it back in the future, it’s just not in the plans this year.

We will be utilizing the riverfront grant area on court street this year. We are calling it the kid zone! They’ll have bounce houses in the park, free face painting and balloon making on the commons and Snobiz and maybe another kids friendly food truck too! We look forward to seeing everyone there.
