Calling all child entrepreneurs! The Kid's Summer Craft Fair is almost here and we need time to prepare.

We already have our first vendor set up to go 💛
This year we are also in our new space so we have so much more room for more vendors.

Please register on our website and you'll be sent an email with the next steps within a couple days.

How cool is this? We had the opportunity to thank Gov. Lamont in person for his support of public libraries, and then host a gathering for some our neighbors at Pomfret School! Thank you to Pat Boyd for including the library in their itinerary.

The first group to finish the Escape Room!!! They finished with 3 mins to spare. There are two more sessions on Thursday April 16th still with openings!

THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY APRIL 10 AS WE PREPARE FOR OUR:

Open House Saturday April 11, 10 am - 2 pm. Come check out the new library space and enjoy family-friendly activities! Overflow parking at Rectory School ball field (across the street) and at Pomfret Congregational Church.

Cleaning House? The library is now accepting donations for the annual Friends of the Library Book Sale. You can drop off your gently used books at the library during business hours (Tues, Wed, Thur 10-6, Fri 2-6, Sat 10-2). Let us know if you have boxfuls - we'll get the dolly to bring them into the basement.

Story time has grown as quickly as the kids who attend...so we're adding a second day!

Starting in April join us on Tuesdays AND Thursdays at 10:30 am. For now Thursday will feature the same stories, songs, and crafts as Tuesday, pick a day that works best for you!

please note: NO Story Time April 16th due to another scheduled program

Feeling anxious? Find a book.
Feeling sad? Find a book.

For hundreds of years, people have turned to books in challenging times. Finding comfort, distraction, and a connection within their pages. Join us next Thursday at 6pm for a presentation and discussion on the importance of literature in difficult times. We will specifically be looking at Tolstoy’s War and Peace but those unfamiliar with the story are still encouraged to attend.

Registration is appreciated but not mandatory.
