Emergency Preparedness Training is being offered at the Rockland County Fire Training Center!
This free NY Citizen Preparedness class will help residents learn how to prepare for emergencies, create a family emergency plan, build a preparedness kit, and stay informed before, during, and after a disaster. Each family will also take home one FREE preparedness kit.

Ready to take the next step toward becoming an emergency vehicle operator?

The Rockland County Fire Training Center is hosting the NYS Apparatus Operator – Emergency Vehicle Operation (EVOC) course. This 18-hour program is designed to provide firefighters with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and responsibly operate emergency vehicles.

Throughout the course, students will gain a better understanding of the serious responsibilities that come with emergency vehicle operations, including legal and moral obligations, risk awareness, and decision-making behind the wheel.

Ready to take your skills to new heights? The Rockland County Fire Training Center is now accepting registrations for the Apparatus Aerial Operator course!
This comprehensive 35-hour New York State course is designed for current and future aerial operators and provides the knowledge and hands-on training needed to safely operate, inspect, and maintain aerial apparatus.
Topics include:

🚒 Vehicle inspections
