I'm recommending these two events this week. The District 2 area commander meeting will be Wed 6pm at MLK park- 800 w Lexington Ave. We will be talking about Safety, The Lexington repavement, the school renovation, what's next at the park, and we are available for any other District 2 questions.
Second, as many of you know. I am a coach at Garey HS and we will be having a Car show fundraiser for the team. Attendance is free to spectators. 10am at Garey HS.

make sure you get the latest recreational guide. Also the District 2 area commander is wed the Aug. 26th at 6pm. We'll have Acai bowls from Delicious Freedom USA and some paletas. Public works will be there talking about street infrastructure, PD will be there talking about safety. Can't wait to see you! Have a great one.

we've had an exciting week. So many things to always support in the city. Keep it going.
The Royalty cheer leaders had a car wash to support their program. GNG BOXING had their 1 year anniversary with their fundraiser and some youth sparring. My wife and I hosted the Garey Football parents at our home for some bonding as we go into the new season. First game is this Friday vs Heritage 7pm at Garey HS. Supported our friends selling gorditas from her home. Very happy for her getting all her permits. School started back up and Lopez invited us to hand out Otter pops to cool the families down in the heat.

thank you to newerabladez at Noble Barbers inside the rioranchomall for the haircut today. Also had great conversation with her co worker alondrablendzz23. They're amazing women trying to get this place going. Follow them, share their pages. Support local, support these women, Pomona born and raised. They're favorite place to eat is Mariscos el Ostion. Make sure to check out the other stores while you're here, the carnitas are made fresh all week.

Extremely excited for the Chicano Hollywood Film Festival happening in .

If you guys want to have a conversation about how things in the city work. Discussions on how to advocate for something like an event, street paving, lights, parks.

Come support the event! There's also many other stores in there to check out. Records, coffee, skate shop and more.

History was made today as we opened Kids World Pomona, the largest playground in the city, at Civic Center Park. After more than 40 yesrs, the water fountain is also working again! It was great to see so many kids and families. Lastly, we'd like to thank everyone involved, especially our Pomona families, as we all continue to strive for a better Pomona.
hoy se hizo historia cuando inauguramos Kids World Pomona, el parque infantil más grande de la ciudad, en el Parque del Centro Cívico. ¡Después de más de 40 años, la fuente de agua también está funcionando de nuevo! Fue genial ver a tantos niños y familias. Por último, nos gustaría agradecer a todos los involucrados, especialmente a nuestras familias de Pomona, ya que todos seguimos luchando por una mejor Pomona.
