Brown’s Temple Ministries is excited to host a special Firefighter Career Opportunities Night for high school students! On Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM, here at Brown’s Temple Ministries, representatives from the Professional Firefighters Association of South Florida will be with us to introduce young people to exciting careers in Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services.
🚒 Students will learn about:

* Firefighter career opportunities
* EMS career pathways
* Fire Cadet programs
* Fire apparatus and equipment
* How to begin preparing NOW for a future in public service

Back-to-school season is here, and we’re proud to support an event that helps local families prepare for a successful school year.

The Housing Authority of the City of Pompano Beach is honored to partner with Brown’s Temple Ministries and Brown’s Community Development Center for a FREE Back-to-School Shoe Giveaway and Grocery Distribution!

Join us on Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Golden Acres Community Center (1050 NW 18th Drive, Pompano Beach). Families will receive free groceries and children can receive back-to-school shoes while supplies last.

Together, we’re helping our community step into the new school year with confidence, hope, and opportunity. We look forward to seeing you there!
