Northern Oklahoma Youth Services Center & Shelter Inc Northern Oklahoma Youth Services is a community based non profit organization that serves youth and families in Northern Oklahoma.

Our primary service area is Kay, Noble and Pawnee Counties. In the early days our mission was to operate the Youth Shelter and programs to divert "at risk" youth from the Juvenile Justice System. Over the past four decades we have evolved into a multi-county program that exists to strengthen families, decrease the occurrence of child abuse and neglect, family violence, teen pregnancy and juvenile

delinquency. We continue to serve troubled youth, but we believe that early prevention programs for young children and families are valuable to our community and will decrease the potential for family violence and juvenile delinquency in the future

A Parents as Teachers (PAT) Parent Educator implements evidence-based, in-home services to support families with children from prenatal through kindergarten. They conduct personal visits, screenings, and group meetings, utilizing the PAT curriculum to enhance child development, strengthen parent-child interaction, and connect families to resources to build a nurturing environment. Our program serves Kay, Noble, Pawnee, and Osage Counties in Oklahoma.
