We work to reach parents and remind them first and foremost of this one critical message: Children begin learning at birth - parents are the first and most important teacher a child will ever have.

From the day a child is born there are 2,190 days - the critical early years - for parents and communities to give children a smart start.
Smart Start Oklahoma is charged with building broad-based public awareness around early childhood and school readiness.
