As we close out National Community Health Worker Awareness Week, we want to recognize Callie Ree-Corbett. Callie is the Community Health Worker for Noble and Pawnee Counties. Callie is available to assist clients at the health department, and she also goes into the communities to provide her essential services. When asked why she enjoys her job, she said that "I do what I do because it is assisting Oklahomans to do what they need to do for their families. It is just that simples."
District 3 says thank you to our Community Health Workers, and we are truly blessed to have you in out counties.

We continue National Community Health Worker Week by recognizing our Community Health Worker, Lura Ware, who is located at the Osage County Health Department. Lura travels throughout Osage County, working with multiple partners to provide services. Lura states that "serving people is my life's purpose. I like ot encourage others to see their worth while sorting through whatever needs they may have. I want my clients to know that they are valued and they have worth." Thanks for all that you do, Lura!!

Continuing our celebration of National Community Health Worker Awareness Week, we recognize Emily Gnehm of the Payne County Health Department. Emily is not only an important asset to the Payne County Health Department, but the community as a whole. Emily works closely with the nonprofit community and provides her services onsite at those nonprofits. Why does she do it? Emily says she does it "because I'm dedicated to making a difference in people's lives by improving their health outcomes. I love to educate on the various resources available to help support individuals and families. I would love to say one day that I truly helped to address the obstacles that affect the community I call home." Thank you for all that you do, Emily!!
