Congratulations to our 4th class of Fatherhood is Sacred/Motherhood is Sacred graduates. Thank you all for giving your precious time. 2 hours one night a week for 12 straight weeks is a big commitment to make. Thank you Paula Mendoza for supporting our program and taking time to always be a part of our graduation ceremonies. I know I speak for all of us facilitators when I say, we honor the privilege of getting to know each one of you. We learn something new every week from you all as well. Thank you for sharing your stories. Every one of you is welcome and encouraged to come back every week and bring your family and friends with you. Wear your shirts proudly & think about our discussions every time you cuddle with your keen blankets. I love spending the day with my fellow advocates. Yesterday was the 4th annual Day of Unity Sponsored by Native Alliance Against Violence - OkNaav. This years event was hosted by the Apache Tribe. What a beautiful day it was to honor victims and survivors of domestic violence. Thank you to all of you amazing advocates for your work! It was awesome to see so many of the tribes across Oklahoma come together for one purpose. On behalf of all of the tribal DV/SA programs, thank you to the NAAV staff and your amazing work. You ladies are such an inspiration to me. 😍 October is domestic violence awareness month but we honor and support victims and survivors 365 days a year. "We support you. We believe you. We stand with you. We are stronger together."✊🏽💪🏼
