After nearly 5 years of service, K9 Ragnar will be medically retiring.

Ragnar has been a great asset to our office and to surrounding agencies, always ready to work and assist when needed. Whether it was helping other counties or making cases of our own, he did his job and did it well.

We’re grateful for the time we had with him and the work he put in alongside his handler.

Enjoy retirement, Ragnar — you’ve earned it.

The Dixon County Sheriff’s Office is grateful to have deputies serve as mentors in the Wakefield Teammates mentoring program. Today was the final meeting of another great school year.
