🎓 THE LAST FIRST DAY! 🏴‍☠️❤️🖤

There’s something extra special about watching our seniors walk through those doors for the last first day of school. From their very first day as little Pirates to the incredible young adults they are today.

A huge THANK YOU to the parents of our senior class and Hickory Hill for hosting a wonderful breakfast and helping make this morning so special for our seniors.

And a special thank you to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and Holmes County Fire Rescue for escorting our seniors and making their last first day one they’ll never forget! 🚔🚒

Student drivers it’s time to secure your parking spot for the upcoming school year!

Parking is $20 per vehicle

Students must provide:
✅ Driver’s License
✅ Valid Insurance
✅ Vehicle Registration
✅ Parking form signed by a parent/guardian (picked up at the library)

📍 Parking spots can be picked at Open House

🚨If you have any questions, see Mrs. Shawna at open house. If you can’t make it to open house, student drivers will have a designated time on Wednesday August 12th to handle all parking.

This week, our incredible faculty and staff returned to campus and were welcomed with delicious breakfast and lunch as we kicked off another year together! ❤️🖤

Tuesday and Wednesday were filled with district meetings and trainings, giving our teachers and staff new tools, ideas, and inspiration to help make this school year the best one yet. And, of course, some staff members even left as winners! 🎉

Finally, we wrapped up the week by celebrating an amazing accomplishment, earning an “A” School rating for the 2025–2026 school year! 🏆📚

We are incredibly appreciative of the Holmes District School Board for all the hard work and effort that went into making this meal possible. Most importantly, we are thankful for the dedication of our faculty and staff who continue to show up, work hard, and give their best for our students.

Here’s to a fantastic 2026–2027 school year! We’re ready for another great year of learning, growing, and making memories together.

🎉 Great News! Chipola's WRTP Grant Has Been Extended Through September 30, 2027!

If you've been thinking about starting a career in the skilled trades, now is the perfect time. Thanks to the extension of Chipola College's Workforce Recovery Training Program (WRTP) Grant, tuition, textbooks, and required fees are covered for eligible students in several high-demand workforce programs, including:

⚡ Electricity
🔥 Welding
🔧 Building Construction
❄️ HVAC/R
🚰 Plumbing

In addition to hands-on training, students can earn industry-recognized certifications while receiving valuable career support, including resume assistance, interview preparation, job search guidance, and mentorship.

The WRTP Grant continues its mission of strengthening the Florida Panhandle by preparing a skilled workforce to support long-term economic growth and recovery following Hurricane Michael.
