The Louisiana Northshore Quilt Trail (the first and only in the state) is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! There are 138 painted blocks outdoors throughout the 5 Northshore parishes. You can hop in your car and see them all. Maps are available at Tourist Centers.
🚙🚕🚗🚕🚙

Ponchatoula has 54 blocks of those 138, and this one will be number 139. It will be located at the new Southern Podiatry Clinic on East Oak Street only a block from our Main Street.
👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣

This pattern includes not only feet (violet) and the podiatrist’s tools (yellow), but also his favorite puppy Charlie! The design is meant to look like a fragrant flower instead of...well you know...feet.

One of our newest Quilt Trail blocks: Kenny Holden, a retired pharmacist (pills at the bottom) and volunteer fireman (yellow ladders on each side) created this pattern as a transition into his retirement (door in the tree trunk). The oak tree celebrates the seven oak trees in his front yard! Welcome to our Trail!
