The Ponemah School Powwow is all set for tomorrow, May 15, 2026. Grand Entry is set for 10:00 a.m. Walking tacos will be served to all for lunch. We hope to see everyone at the school tomorrow.

Red Lake Community Education is back this summer! Students entering 2nd - 12th grade are welcome to sign up for this free summertime experience. Taking place Mondays-Thursdays June 1 - July 30, your students can play sports like T-Ball, Football, ride bike, learn about bike safety, play volleyball, be introduced to Little League, and more! Lunch is provided for the morning session and snack is provided during the afternoon session.

The first 10 students in grades four through eight who register have an amazing opportunity to build their own lacrosse stick, right here at Ponemah School. Please check the attached flyer for all the details, but know that kids are expected to be in attendance both this Sunday, April 26th and next Sunday, May 3rd. When reading together, ask your child if they understand a word and can explain it. 📖 If not, explain it simply and use it in a sentence they’ll understand. 👉 https://education.mn.gov/MDE/fam/lit/
Building vocabulary like this helps children better understand what they read and strengthens overall literacy skills.
