šŸŽ‰ Otter Run 2026 was an overwhelming success!

Over the past month, Ollie took us on a trip down memory lane, celebrating 30 years of Ocean Palms with old yearbook photos, fun memories, and a look at what kids were up to in ā€œthe old days.ā€ (Did you know the Macarena is also 30 years old?!)

āļø This morning, our incredible OPE community came together on the front field to run, walk, skip, and celebrate some AMAZING fundraising achievements!

ā¤ļø To everyone who donated, participated, volunteered, or otherwise supported our biggest fundraiser of the year: THANK YOU! We are so grateful for your generosity and canā€™t wait to put it to great use. Another turf sports field and some much-needed shade are coming your way!

šŸ’Ŗ A special thank you to Randy Jones, Cory Doumas, and Aimee Work for the countless hours of planning and hard work that went into celebrating Ollieā€™s birthday and bringing Otter Run to life! And to our wonderful cafeteria volunteers who handed out prizes and room parents who helped make the day extra special for every classroom, thank you for sharing your time and talents with our school!

šŸ¦· A big thank you to our event sponsor and Partner in Education, Fishman Pediatric Dentistry, for supporting Otter Run 2026!

šŸŽ‰ The birthday celebration isnā€™t over just yet! We still have a few fun things to look forward to:

šŸ• Wednesday: Pizza parties for 1st and 2nd grades

šŸ¦Friday: Ice cream parties for our prize drawing winners

šŸŽ Friday: Distribution of remaining individual prizes in the cafeteria. We wonā€™t miss anyone!

šŸ•ļø Coming soon: Ms. Altick sleeps on the ROOF! Yes, really! Stay tuned!

Itā€™s that time of year when schools recognize the many teachers and staff who make a difference each and every day. Area schools name a Teacher of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year and ā€¦
