Despite Governor Pritzker’s claim that he has a “record of fiscal responsibility," a recent state audit found that an Illinois agency paid a staffing firm $78.5 million for contractors who were not actively working. Illinois taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going and that every dollar is being spent responsibly. House Republicans will continue pushing for greater accountability and transparency in state government.
