We had a wonderful time getting to know Mayor Mike McGuinness over muffins and breakfast! It was a great morning filled with amazing conversation, outstanding food, and above all, an opportunity for our residents to learn more about our new mayor and his vision for Pontiac. Thank you, Mayor McGuinness, for spending your morning with us! Our residents were very impressed with your knowledge of every inch of Pontiac, and they look forward to staying connected. What a great way for us to start our day.

Health fairs are fun and informative when they are hosted by Baldwin House Oakland. We offer so many options to our seniors to help them age in place. Thank you so much to our many health care professionals who took the time to help our residents navigate the information. Oh, and did we mention there were raffles, a photo booth and ice cream!? Yummmmyyy!

Hospitality Supervisor Kathleen Tuzzolino celebrated 25 years this month with Baldwin House Oakland. She is very dedicated to her residents and does it with a smile. Congrats Kathy! Belinda Smith, Executive Director, presented her with this huge "Thank You" plaque. Kathy, you deserve every inch of this award and you are so loved by everyone.

We held our annual Senior Olympics part one this week. Corn hole and putting were the games. Sheila and Leigh won the silver for corn hole and Carol and Sally won the GOLD!! 🥇 Putting was quite challenging, but we did have our victors. Sally won another gold, Carol won the silver, and Leigh won the bronze. It was truly so fun to experience how our residents can be so competitive. BRING IT ON! Stay tuned for next week's games!
