Parenting teens doesn’t come with a playbook, but a few more tools never hurt.

The Parent Project is coming to Pontiac with a free 10-week series focused on the real situations that can come with raising teens, from communication and school performance to social media, bullying, peer pressure, and more.

Sessions begin Tuesday, October 20th, from 6–8 p.m. at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Dinner and a workbook are provided, and space is limited.

This is a community resource being shared with Pontiac Schools families. See the flyer for details and scan the QR code to register.

Wednesday, October 7th is Count Day!

Count Day is important because student attendance helps determine the funding our district receives to support our schools, classrooms, programs, and services throughout the year.

Every student matters, and every student counts. Families, please make sure your student is in school, on time, and ready to learn on Wednesday.

Help us make sure every Pontiac student is counted!

Questions about Count Day or attendance? Please contact your school office.

Homecoming weekend brought plenty of purple, black, and Phoenix pride to Pontiac. 💜🖤

Our Phoenix represented all weekend, with classes, clubs, and the Homecoming Court showing their spirit in the parade, students hitting the field for girls flag football and boys football, and our cheerleaders and marching band bringing plenty of energy to the sidelines and halftime.

Take a look back at Homecoming 2026! 📸
