Friend of the Court General Information:

The Friend of the Court provides services to parties with minor children involving divorce, family support, interstate and paternity cases. We are involved if your case is heard by the Circuit Court and if there are minor children involved. Our duties are custody, parenting time, and child support. Contact the Friend of the Court:

For 17 years, Lisa Harris has brought dedication, fairness, and deep legal expertise to . Currently serving her 14th year in our Juvenile Division, Lisa has spent her career advocating for families, juveniles, and community safety. "I’ve been a defense attorney, a prosecutor, and I’ve dealt with numerous criminal and civil matters," she says. "I’ve sat in every legal chair in the courtroom."

Outside the courtroom, Lisa and her husband Tony, a retired school principal, share a profound commitment to youth development and remain actively involved in volunteer work. Thank you, Lisa, for your exceptional service to our county! 💚

Please join the Sixth Circuit Court in congratulating the winners of the "Liberty & Justice For All" juror sticker contest. Of the 190 entries, one winner was selected in each age category.

Middle School - Tess Nowacki
High School - Vanessa Nolan

All honorees were congratulated by members of the circuit court bench with handshakes or high-fives from Chief Judge Jeffery Matis, Circuit Court Judges Michael Warren, Cheryl Matthews, Lisa Gorcyca, Mary Ellen Brennan, Julie McDonald, and Lorie Savin.
