This Saturday Savannah Recruiting Company held a future soldier swear in ceremony at the Savannah Hurricanes military appreciation game! The Oath of Enlistment was administered by ret. COL Weems and the Hurricanes won agains the Ft. Stewart 3ID basketball team. 🏀🏀

Savannah Recruiting Company introduces the ever mysterious, paparazzi dodging, die hard Steelers fan, CAUGHT CHEESIN 😃 MSG Jackson!!

MSG Jackson has been in the Army for 18 years; 7 years as a 25 series (Signal Corps) and 11 years in recruiting. He has deployed twice; a back to back deployment in Iraq from 2007-2009.

He is from North Carolina and has a wonderful wife and two children. MSG Jackson enjoys cycling and being an absolute monster on the pickle ball court. His bucket list item is to put his airborne skills to the test and conduct a halo jump! 🪂

Like any other Master Sergeant in the Army you can find him drinking black drip coffee and supporting the team. He is currently on loan to us from our Battalion as we wait for our next First Sergeant, but he has already proven to be a crucial member of the team! He is constantly eliminating friction points and developing our recruiters to be better leaders everyday. We will be sad to see him go but we will absolutely learn from him while he is here.

He enjoys recruiting as he can create pathways for young people to achieve their goals.

Meet the Savannah Recruiting company team!!!

Today we are featuring our fearless Company Commander, CPT Sarah Duncan. She earned her commission as a Field Artillery Officer and later transferred to become a Signal Officer. Her previous assignment was at 169 Signal Company as the USANEC- Walker Commander in South Korea. 🇰🇷

She has her undergraduate degree in Forensic Psychology and her first masters degree in Logistics Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. She later went on and earned her second masters degree in Sociology from Clemson University.

She is originally from Melbourne, Florida 🌺and has a 6 year old son, Reed (who speaks fluent Korean!). She enjoys reading thriller novels and traveling, her favorite experience being a trip to Hua Hin, Thailand. 🇹🇭

CPT Duncan was the first female Field Artillery Officer at Fort Riley, KS to be in Platoon, and her favorite Army memory was being a Fire Direction Officer conducting a Sweep and Zone mission, firing all 6 weapons at once. 💥💥💥💥💥💥

CPT Duncan hit the ground running and is most excited to help recruit young men and women into the greatest branch of the military. I SAY HOOAH 💪🏼💪🏼

Yesterday the Jacksonville BN honored the Army’s 248th Birthday in a traditional cake cutting ceremony at Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield.

The day also consisted of an Educational Tour of Ft. Stewart to the educators we partner with from all around Southern Georgia and Northern Florida.
