A heartfelt thank you to the Coastal Georgia Apartment Association for their incredible $5,000 donation in support of Gilliard & Company's from the Casino Night fundraiser!

It was truly a pleasure to welcome your team for a tour of our program and to share a deeper look into the work we do every day to support young adults transitioning out of foster care.

Behind every apartment, every job secured, every driver's license earned, and every life skill mastered is a young person working hard to build a future of independence and stability.

Your generosity is more than a financial contribution, it is an investment in the futures of young adults who are overcoming significant challenges and working toward self-sufficiency.

Partnerships like yours help us provide housing support, life skills training, employment readiness, transportation assistance, mentorship, and the critical resources needed for successful adulthood.

Lived experience stories deserve more than statistics.

They deserve to be seen, felt, honored, and remembered.

Project Blue is now accepting nominations from individuals with lived foster care experience who are willing to share their journey through creative storytelling led by SCAD student artists, animators, designers, illustrators, and storytellers.

Through digital animation, comic book series, visual art, multimedia storytelling, and future gallery exhibitions, these stories will be transformed into meaningful works that educate, inspire, and create lasting impact.

The Blue Project was built on the belief that innovation should remain human-centered, and storytelling should remain honorable.

This initiative exists to ensure foster care stories are shared with dignity, creativity, compassion, and purpose — not as headlines, but as human experiences.

Congratulations to our 2026 Project Blue selected students. Out of 50 registrations, these individuals were chosen for their enthusiasm, professionalism, communication, and potential to create impact through their talents.

The Blue Project was built on the belief that innovation should remain human-centered, and storytelling should remain honorable.

This internship was created to bring together the creativity of SCAD students, the vision of technologists, and the voices of individuals with lived experience to build something meaningful beyond traditional internships.

Through art, design, communication, media, and data system building, these students will help foster care stories be seen with dignity, creativity, and purpose.

This is more than an internship.
This is purposeful storytelling with heart behind it.

What an incredible evening at Casino Night hosted by the Coastal Georgia Apartment Association in support of our mission here at Gilliard and Company.

From the laughter at the tables, to the community coming together for a purpose bigger than ourselves, the night was filled with joy, connection, and generosity. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and supported our mission to serve youth in foster care and young adults transitioning into independence.
