PBFD had a rough Friday morning!!
Sorry to say that PB has lost another historic building.
Thankfully everyone went home safe!!
Want to thank our community leaders for all their support.
Thank you Butler County EMS for always standing by to take care of us and our citizens if needed!
Thank you Chief Kiersey for all your help at the fire scene.
Thank you Heartland Express for providing the breakfast sandwiches.
Thank you Subway for the subs for lunch.
Thank you Jonna Craft and your team from PBRMC for the drinks you provided.
Thank you Frankie Casteel for making the announcements on the radio, for all your support and for arranging all the food this morning. We know if we need anything you can make it happen.
Thanks to our State Fire Marshall, Street,Motorpool,Utilities,Planning,Police Department. I spoke with every City Department Head throughout the morning and every one of them were happy to provide and help with anything we needed.

With the possibility of up coming weather this weekend Poplar Bluff will be testing storm sirens at 1030am and 1200 noon today.

The City of Poplar Bluff is taking sealed bids for the sale of a 1985 GMC van. Bids are due to the office of the City Clerk by 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
