Farmers and ranchers: make sure you, your family and your employees know how to be safe around downed power lines.
🚜 Know where power lines cross your land.
🚜 Stay at least 35 feet away from fallen lines. If you are within 35 feet of a fallen line, hop with both feet together or shuffle to safety.
🚜 Assume fallen lines are energized.
🚜 Be aware that fallen or sagging lines might come in contact with fences and equipment.
🚜 Immediately notify Ozark Border Electric at 1-800-392-0567 if you see a downed line.
