Ozark Border Electric recognizes the hardworking right-of-way professionals within our community. (Especially our lineworkers—we’d be powerless without you!)

If you see a utility truck working on the side of the road, remember to move over safely!

Cooking with a conventional oven can heat up your house quickly, forcing your A/C to work harder. Use the summer heat as an excuse to fire up the grill and save on your bill. Grilling is a summertime tradition for a reason—to keep the heat outside.

Summer, a time for outdoor activities! Don’t forget about the potential for severe weather, which can lead to power outages. If you’re outdoors when the weather takes a turn, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reminds us, “see a flash, dash inside,” and “when thunder roars, go indoors.”

Once it’s safe, remember to report any outages or downed lines to us via SmartHub or by calling 855-938-3585.
