PB to DC trip Day 4: the group had a very busy day visiting Mount Vernon, the WWII Memorial, the International Spy Museum, and the White House. They also had a very cool opportunity;they did a Vietnam Memorial Wall coloring of the names of two men from PB who died in Vietnam…Robert Richardson and James Metz.

On day 2 of the PB to DC trip our students experienced Jamestown Glassblowing, Jamestown Island --They observed an archeological dig and spoke with an archaeologist about what they were doing, Jamestown Settlement, American Revolution Museum, Nelson House--cannon balls in the side from the Siege of Yorktown in October of 1781, Victory Monument, Redoubts 9 & 10--Alexander Hamilton's claim to fame, and Surrender Field. A jam packed day full of American history!

We've added summer open gyms for incoming 9th-12th graders for the month of June. Please note that these will be held at the Junior High main gym. Open gyms are not mandatory, but are HIGHLY encouraged if you plan to attend tryouts in August. Let's go! 🏐 🏐

Yesterday our PB TO DC 8th grade students landed in DC and headed to Michie Tavern(a working tavern since the 1700’s) for lunch, toured Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson), then onto Williamsburg for the Ghost Tour! This trip is a wonderful experience for our participating students! We will post pics and a recap each day for their families to enjoy!
