Poplar Branch, North Carolina Poplar Branch (formerly, Currituck Narrows) is an unincorporated community in Currituck County, North Carolina. It lies at an elevation of 13 feet.

This page is dedicated to the memory of my Mom, Sister and Granddaddy. My Mom, Wilma Wray Garrington, grew up in Poplar Branch; my sister, Beverly Jean, was born in Poplar Branch but grew up in Sumter, SC. And my Granddaddy lived most of his life in Poplar Branch.
