Happy Sunday Folks! I am excited to say we are less than one week away to Neighbors Fest. I hope you'll join me this coming Saturday, June 13th starting at 4pm for family summer fun. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Last weeks was a heck of a week, with lots of meetings, digging into resident concerns, preparing items for the agenda for this Wednesday's Board of Trustee meeting, trying to keep up with the auditors' requests, and finalizing Neighbors Fest details.

There are times this job is tough, as being fair, enforcing our ordinances, codes, etc. often leaves some individuals upset. Understand that I do not take any joy in those actions and conversations, only that they are necessary. Each of you, always have the right to express your concerns to the board. There is a public comment section on the agenda at every meeting.

Here is the agenda and packet for the upcoming meeting on Wednesday. https://mccmeetings.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/popgrv-pubu/MEET-Packet-d559f8ee9c994602aba1ebf89055be06.pdf

~Looking Ahead~

This week is more open as we head into the Saturday's event. I will be in the office Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10am - 4pm, Tuesday and Thursday 2pm - 4:30pm
I am always happy to speak to residents, if I am available.

I hope to see you all next Saturday. Have a wonderful week. Stay cool as we have some intense heat heading our way mid-week.

:::WEEKLY RECAP:::

Happy last day of May folks. Summer is upon us, as school is out and the hot weather is here to stay. Last week moved quickly due to the office being closed on Memorial Day Monday.

The week was quite in terms of scheduled meetings, which worked out well to work on payroll, follow-up board meeting items, payable checks, and employee issues. Our annual audit is in full swing and I will be spending a great deal of time working with them and our accounting firm to produce the reports and other financial documentation needed.

Neighbors Fest planning is at the forefront of activities as we are only two (2) weeks away! We've been working on signage, event layout, following up with vendors, public works needs before the event, etc. I am so grateful to staff's hard work on this event, and to all of this year's sponsors -->> Next Phase Builders, Marengo Disposal, Solutions Bank, and Xfinity. Make sure to mark your calendar for Saturday June 13th starting at 4pm.

~Looking Ahead~
This week is much busier with a ton more scheduled meetings. I will be in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to 3:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm to 4:30pm.
