Poplar Ridge Fire Department along with King Ferry, Genoa, Scipio, Long Hill, and Aurora participated in a Mock DWI drill at Southern Cayuga High School. We would like to thank all who were involved.

we were called out for a structure fire today at 1540 on Ford Road with the assistant of our amazing mutual aide everyone was back in service by 630! thanks for all the help! we are neighbors helping neighbors

We wanted to start with thank you to those that donated baked goods to our department BBQ last month. We will be having a bake sale at every BBQ. Going forward we would like anyone who would like to donate baked goods to get ahold of Alexis. Poplar Ridge Fire Department junior member Jason Clark was one of the area middle and high school students awarded a Cayuga Lake National Bank "Bee You" award.

The Bee You Awards highlight students who make a difference and positively impact their peers and community. Nominees must be students who exhibit one or more of the following characteristics: motivation, kindness, compassion, dedication, empathy, leadership, authenticity, and bravery.

We are proud of Jason's continued dedication to the Poplar Ridge Fire Department and our community. Congratulations to Jason and all of the "Bee You" award recipients!
