Pearl River County 4-H The 4-H Youth program strives to improve the quality of life for Mississippi youth

The 4-H Youth program strives to improve the quality of life for Mississippi youth by developing youth potential and by providing "hands-on" (experiential) educational programs. Program priorities identified include leadership development, life skills training, developing positive self-esteem, and empowering volunteers. Programs are delivered through local county Extension offices to volunteer leaders.

Congratulations to our very own Haven Simon for placing 1st place with his team at the Youth Stockmanship Contest this past week in Starkville, MS. He teamed up with a few Stone County 4-H members. The team will be heading to Kentucky in the fall for the National contest to represent Mississippi!

We have a new camp coming this summer! Join us for our Expressive Arts Camp on June 22-26, 2026. We have many amazing projects planned! The deadline to apply is June 5th. We will be accepting participants on a first come first serve basis. You must contact our office at 601-403-2280 and pay the $25 registration fee to hold your spot.

Make sure to register for our Pine Belt Summer Camp coming up on July 13-15, 2026! The deadline to register for camp is May 28th.

We also have a scholarship opportunity for summer camp to get $120 off of your camp fees. See the flyer below on how to enter the scholarship essay contest. The deadline for the scholarship contest is this Friday, May 15th.
