Attention Residents: Statewide Outage affecting Emergency Phone Lines
As of Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 1:45 PM, AT&T is experiencing a Louisiana statewide outage that is also impacting West Baton Rouge Parish. Our emergency phone lines in the West Baton Rouge Parish Communications Office are currently down as a result.
At this time, only landline phones are able to reach our emergency lines. Until the issue is resolved, please use one of the following temporary methods to contact us:

Heavy rainfall this weekend. For The rainiest 24 hour time frame starting Sat 7pm through Sun 7pm, these are the probabilities of greater than 2 inches of rain within those 24 hours. This will likely change a bit, but it shows that we get less rainfall than areas north of us.
