FYI, here is the weekly update from West Baton Rouge Mosquito Control

Good Monday morning. Last week, we submitted 34 mosquito samples to the LSU Disease Diagnostic Lab for testing; none tested positive for disease.

As confirmed by this morning's landing counts, multiple rain events over the Memorial Day weekend have provided the right conditions for continued above-average floodwater mosquito activity throughout WBR Parish. Consequently, parish-wide spray truck operations begin again tonight and will continue through Thursday night (weather permitting).

All parish parks, recreation facilities, and schools will also be sprayed this week. Click on the map link for location details. Check back for updates, and remember to be a Skeeter Be**er!
