This is a reminder that all Iberville Parish School District campuses are drug-free zones, and violations of the law on school property will result in increased penalties.

Act 305 of the 2026 Regular Legislative Session established new penalties related to ma*****na possession in a school zone. This law is now in effect.

Please take a moment to review the attached flyer for important information regarding Act 305 and the penalties associated with violations in school zones.

We have almost made it through the entire month without a fight! We have just one more day, Monday, August 31, to accomplish our goal!

If we finish the month with NO FIGHTS, students will earn a Free Dress Day on Tuesday, September 1!

Remember, all students must remain in compliance with the IPSB Dress Code. No Crocs, slides, hoodies, ripped jeans, or other prohibited items.

Letโ€™s finish strong and reach our goal! Go, Bulldogs!

Parents and families are always looking for more opportunities to keep teens engaged, learning, and connected โ€” especially outside of traditional sports.

Hereโ€™s a resource that may be right in your backyard โ€” the Iberville Parish Library! ๐Ÿ“š

Our library branches offer so much more than books, with teen programs happening throughout the parish. This September, teens can get involved with everything from ACT/SAT prep and STEAM activities to art, volunteering, anime, and fun challenges.

If sports arenโ€™t your teenโ€™s thing โ€” or theyโ€™re simply looking for something new โ€” donโ€™t forget about your local library! There may be more happening there than you realize. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’œ
